From 13 to 15 August 2024, the Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (CIIF) hosted its Chartered Fast-Track Masterclass (CFM) for Cohort 19. This Masterclass brought together 14 high-profile participants, including a deputy governor from Bank Negara Malaysia and senior leadership from various Islamic Banks, showcasing the caliber of professionals attracted to this unique learning opportunity.
The CFM, jointly designed by MindSpring and CIIF, caters to individuals with extensive practical experience in Islamic finance. It offers a condensed yet comprehensive program covering high-level topics related to CIIF Chartered Membership certification. A distinctive feature of this masterclass is its emphasis on practical application. Rather than traditional exams, participants showcase their expertise through a comprehensive reflective essay. This approach enables them to articulate complex concepts, demonstrate analytical skills, and illustrate how they would apply Islamic finance principles to address real-world challenges.
